Frequently Asked Questions
Do I own the photos after the shoot?
Not exactly. You have the right to use the photos according to the license provided, but I (the photographer) retain copyright unless otherwise agreed upon.
What if I want to use the photos for a product or album cover?
You’ll need a Commercial Use License. If you’re unsure, just ask — it’s better to have the right license up front.
Can I post the photos on Instagram or TikTok?
Yes — personal social media use is always allowed with the default license. Just don’t use the photos to promote a business, product, or paid service unless you have a commercial license.
How much does a commercial license cost?
Commercial licensing starts at $250 per image, but bundle pricing is available for full campaigns or multi-photo usage.
What if I already paid for the shoot — why do I need a license too?
Great question. The shoot fee covers the time, creative direction, editing, etc. — the license covers how you’re allowed to use the photos afterward. This protects both of us legally and ensures clarity for the project.
Can I request exclusive rights to my photos?
Absolutely. If you want to make sure your images aren’t used anywhere else or by anyone else, we can discuss an Exclusive License.
